Beers

We offer a range of great British ales – we change our line up regularly but we also like to have ales made by brewers we know and have spent time with over the years, so we are close to Charles Wells of Bedford who brew Bombardier, Courage Best and Directors; Theakstons who have brewed some marvellous ales for decades and has Edward Theakston -the well known guru of British beers – to explain all there is to know about beer; Thwaites and The Caledonian Brewery.

We host an annual world beer festival every October – when we bring some unique Belgian beers to The GlassHouse.

Wine

Wine is one of our real passions here. Our extensive range of wines reflect long standing connections with wonderful wine makers across the world. We price these wines to be enjoyed.

We hold regular wine dinners throughout the year and every month The GlassHouse Wine Appreciation Society to taste an discuss wines. The GHWAS also goes on tour – have a look at the fotos from our first two trips – to Champagne and to Alsace. Our next trip will be to Nimes in the south of France.
